'Very Well Treated': Hostage Rebukes Claims on Mistreatment by Hamas.

Yocheved Liftshitz, an 85-year-old hostage released by Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, denied all reports claiming that hostages were being mistreated.

Amid pressure from the Israeli press and government, the hostage publicly emphasized that she was 'very well treated' along with the other hostages held captive following the Al-Aqsa Storm attack launched by the resistance movement against Israel on October 7.

The daughter of the hostage translated her mother's remarks under interruption from the media and security guards on TuesdayWhen Liftshitz was kidnapped, she was put in a large hall with 25 other hostages.

Five of them along with the newly-released hostage were put in a separate room, Liftshitz's daughter said, noting that members of Hamas also known as the Qassam brigade were 'very friendly' towards the hostages.

'They took care of them. They were given the medicine and they were treated well,' Liftshitz's daughter said, adding that one of the hostages who was injured in an accident was given antibiotics and medicine.
